So, what really is a Pardon? A lot of people ask us this question all the time. Most people associate the word "Pardon" when they didn't quite hear something, or when they are trying to excuse themselves. However, there is more to this word #Pardon than just a way to get someone to repeat themselves or to be excused. The word Pardon in the government and legal field mean so much more; Pardon means freedom. So lets take a look at what type of Pardon we are discussing...the type of "Pardon" that the Canadian Government is referring to (which by the way is also known as a "#RecordSuspension").
According to the Canadian government:
A Pardon (Record Suspension) allows people who were convicted of a criminal offence, but have completed their sentence and demonstrated that they are law-abiding citizens for a prescribed number of years, to have their criminal record kept separate and apart from other criminal records.
A Pardon removes a person's criminal record from the Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC) database. This means that a search of the CPIC will not show that the individual has a criminal record or a Pardon. This helps them access employment and educational opportunities and to reintegrate into society; Canada is pretty sweet eh? No pun intended lol. So basically a Pardon gives an individual with a criminal history a second chance. Even better Pardon Partners Canada (PPC) is here to help with that second chance! We complete all the work on your behalf and put forth the best application!
You get a Pardon! You get a Pardon! And you get a Pardon! I'm just kidding, lol, but not really. As long as you qualify for the Pardon, then there should be no real reason why your Pardon wouldn't be granted. Just an FYI as well (because this is a common misconception), Pardon Partners Canada does not grant the Pardons. Once again, PPC only completes the application process to obtain the Pardon and we do so diligently. Think of it this way, you would not show up in court without a lawyer would you? Need we say anymore? I didn't think so. The Parole Board of Canada is the official and only federal agency responsible for ordering, refusing to order and revoking record suspensions for convictions under federal acts or regulations of Canada.
So now that you understand what a Pardon is and if you think you need to obtain one call us today at (647) 699-8746. A Pardon Officer will gladly assist you in this next chapter in your life. Freedom is only a call away!
Yours Truly,
